The principle and result of Giemsa chromatiny staining are basically the same as that of Wright's stain method. For cellular quality, it can better display the degree of alkalineness of cytoplasm, especially for bloody and eosinophils, and alkaline particles in blood and bone marrow cells.
The principle and result of Giemsa chromatiny staining are basically the same as that of Wright’s stain method. For cellular quality, it can better display the degree of alkalineness of cytoplasm, especially for bloody and eosinophils, and alkaline particles in blood and bone marrow cells. However, the nucleus is deep in color and the nuclear results are not good. Therefore, the Giemsa chromatin is used to be used in combination with the Wright’s stain chromosomal solution.
Application: For histocytological staining to identify white blood cells in bone marrow and other blood-forming tissues (lymph nodes), and to identify certain microorganisms.
